Internship

Students studying under CUSV’s master program will intern at our clinic, to provide students with a real clinical training environment, to reinforce practical and conceptual skills gained in other coursework, and to train primary care providers.

Clinic faculty will guide students in assuming greater responsibility of patient care leading to almost complete responsibility while under supervision.

Requirements

An approved course in CPR is required prior to the entry-level clinical training. A health examination certificate, a recent (within the prior 12 months) tuberculosis test or chest x-ray are also required before enrolling in the clinical internship. Further inquiries on entrance requirements for the clinic should be directed to the Office of Academics Affairs.
